Hello Friends and Fellow Fisherman,

Last letter I said spring is just around the corner - I didn't know the corner was so far away.  The weather has been absolutely awful.  Cold - Raining - Windy.  We'll have one day of pretty weather, then 5 days of terrible fishing weather.   But ( you know there is always a but) when the boats can get out they are catching good fish.  The cool nights are keeping the water temp. down.  With the cool water the larger fish are harder to find.  The small trout 13" to 14 and 1/2" are really biting good.  As soon as the water warms up a little, the pin-fish along with the rest of the food will show up and the larger fish will be here also.

April and May are usually our best spring months, but ( there is that but again ) due to the cool water and the weather in general, May and June will be best this year. 

Live shrimp is still the best bait.  Artificial bait is getting better each day.

All I can ask is for you to be patient, spring is just around the corner.
